Our Marketing Center is a team of accomplished professionals with long histories from both ad agency and funeral home backgrounds. That means you may not be able to find anyone else more qualified to create your project than our team. We can help put you on the map, trump your competition, improve your image, and point out why you're the hallmark of service to your community.

Below is a list of products and services we offer to our IMS clients; if you're serious about your image as well as your potential, you'll want to talk to us about how to enhance your impression on your community.

Logo Design

Your logo is the foundation of your image. Typefaces, colors, symbols and a variety of other nuances all come together to evoke the impression of your firm. From traditional to forward-thinking, generational to contemporary, or elegant to economical, out of all the things you do to advertise your firm, your logo works the hardest by far to tell the story of your firm. So don't trust the design of this incredibly important component of your image to just anyone — let our experts work their magic for your firm. We don't use clip art or cut corners; actual artists interpret and craft your icon into an original and unique image. View samples

Ready-to-Use Newspaper Ad Library

The ads available in our ever-growing library are based on actual experiences and timely topics. If you have a unique situation you'd like your community made aware of, chances are we already have a poignant and eloquent newspaper ad available to you. As an IMS owner, these ads are available to you at no charge; just download a press-ready PDF from our IMS, and forward it to your newspaper or other publication to personalize with your logo and contact info. There's no waiting, no frustration while your ad guy tries multiple attempts to "get it," and no dissapointment of paying top dollar for a so-so ad. View library

Stationery Design

The design of your stationery continues projecting your image where your logo leaves off. The perfect showcase for your logo, stationery design uses the same colors and theme, telling your contacts that you take your image seriously and that it reaches far past the sign out front. We can also recommend paper stocks to complete not only the look, but the feel. Choose to be one of the few who cares enough to stand out whenever possible; it's easy with the Marketing Center's design team. View samples

Customs Creations and Case Studies

Below are samples of our approaches to unique issues of our clients. They asked us to go to bat for them, and feel that we hit a home run. What can we do for you?

Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Homes

When Chris Grubbs of Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Homes wanted to make his community aware of his firm's 100th anniversary, he talked with all of the most popular funeral-niche agencies — but chose us. While anyone can invite the public to a celebration, we created a collective print campaign out of it, starting by modifying his logo to reflect his firm's milestone, then told his story as history. Additional print ads supported the campaign visually as well as literally.

Boyd Funeral Home

Andy Fox of Boyd Funeral Home had a problem: a more-money-than-thou firm decided to spend a boatload of money on a palace of a facility, right down the road from him. We met with him and after studying the area, came up with our message for his firm, Boyd Funeral Directors: while his new competitor knew how to spend money, they didn't know the area — nor what it's people wanted. The message appeared consistantly over the next few months, and the result is that Andy isn't worrying as much as he used to, and his entire area realizes his contributions and his dedication to it.

Vanderplaat Funeral Home

When Tim Brock of Vanderplaat Funeral Home wanted his Matthews Web System to reflect his firm's unique beauty, and include both locations, we did; we used his colors, logos, and imagery of the dogwood blossom (which happens to be the glyph of his logo) and came up with the beautiful custom site. Also, turns out Tim is a pretty good amateur photographer, so we were able to use his photography. Bottom line: Tim got a premium ad-agency style custom website for both of his locations, at a fraction of the cost.

Young's Community Memorial

When John Young of Young's Community Memorial wanted to increase the number of prearrangement policies he was writing, we wrote a direct mail letter that explained all of the benefits a family can receive by prearranging. And, because we designed it with a business reply card, not only does John's firm get noticed by the entire area, but he also has leads mailed directly to him. When was the last time you had a prearrangement lead mailed right to your door?

Macon Funeral Home

Larry Buchanon of Macon Funeral Home had a long-standing problem with the public having an unreasonable impression that as owners of a certain policy, they were bound to it. We gave Larry a public service announcement-style ad that cleared things up; anyone who saw that ad learned that they not only weren't bound to their not-so-great policy, but that they actually could do better by using the coupon offering more than the policy's benefit.
